Flowing Through

Leon enjoyed his shower immensely- it woke him up, it cleared his mind, it allowed him to overly lather his body so he could have another discussion of just what erotic thoughts of D would do to him and what was the easiest route to overcoming that. Besides he was absolutely sure that D would not be amused if he ambled over to his grandfather and asked him if he'd mind leaving for, oh, say an hour or so that he'd very much like to throw his grandson down and have his way with him. He grinned to himself basking in the hot spray of water on his body washing away any incriminating evidence. Nah, he just couldn't image old gramps would think that was such a good idea. He sobered up considering for a moment D's grandfather. A grandfather that looked to be not but a few years older then D who didn't look like he was a day over twenty two. A grandfather who was Q Chan who was flying rodent, except of course when he wasn't but was D's grandfather. He could hear them as a muted noise in the background of the apartment talking and moving around. Leon leaned against the cool, tiled surface of shower with his arms crossed letting the white noise of the water falling help him concentrate. He shook his head it was just too much for him to absorb. He sighed and turned off the shower. Playtime was officially over. D had some explaining to do and Leon intended to make sure he did.

D and Q Chan were both sitting on the couch sipping tea when Leon finally emerged from the bathroom. Q Chan favored the young man with an appraising look taking in the long legs that showed beneath his bathrobe, the V of exposed flesh at his neck, and water darkened blond hair dripping between his shoulder blades. He had to admit the detective was certainly an attractive specimen of humanity. He glanced at his grandchild under his lashes curious to see what effect the human would have on him in this state. He was mildly surprised to see the faint affects of pale pink blush spreading across his face and neck. D steadily looked into the clear green tea in his hands and resolutely refused to look at him or Leon.

"Hello, Detective, I sincerely hope neither my grandfather nor I disturbed you earlier." Leon narrowed his eyes to slits at the return of "detective". He could just see the wall D was busily building around himself. Q Chan watched him coolly over the rim of his tea a slight smile on his face. The smile rubbed Leon the wrong way.

'Detective is it? Will just see about that Count' Leon thought. He met Q Chan stare for stare refusing to back down from the smug knowing look in his eyes.

"Oh, no you weren't disturbing me. I needed to get up anyway. I'm not used to sleeping in even after such a taxing" a bit of a pause for emphasis "night". Leon swiveled on his heels and casually threw the remark over his shoulder as he went into his bedroom. He wanted to snatch D up by his thin shoulders and shake him, shake him good and hard. In the past that is precisely what he would have done too until the frustration in him subsided but then part of him wanted to curl up in a tiny hurt ball too. His hands clenched and unclenched uselessly as he tangled with the torrent of anger and hurt. D was going to shut him out now or at least he was going to try to. He had seen it in his body language and had it confirmed with the use of his title. Leon pulled on his clothes slowly each item in a precise order, boxers, followed by jeans, followed by t-shirt, followed by a button down shirt left unbuttoned. Each piece of cloth as much a reinforcement of himself as D's cheongsam's were to him. It made him feel better to pull on these thin bits of armor. He grabbed an elastic band and pulled his damp hair through it tugging it tightly to his scalp. He gave a humorless smile to the mirror and addressed himself.

"Okay, Detective, it's time to pull yourself together. We've a bad guy to ki….catch." Leon amended the sentence before the word kill could slip through his lips. After all D had shown how things were going to be. Apparently they're relationship was going to regress, apparently it didn't mean a damn thing that they had made love, apparently Leon was going to be pushed back. Of course Leon was never much one for appearances or the facades others put up. The next thought that ran through his mind was of just what a terrible liar D could be because Leon had so not missed the light blush on D's ivory skin. And just what an even more terrible liar Leon was going to make him out to be the first chance he got to lay his hands on his body and provoke a reaction from him. Leon's smile grew tighter and meaner in his reflection. Then when he did 'catch' the s.o.b. who had dared hurt D Leon was going to choke the life out of him and leave his dead body for the fishes out in the bay. Leon's stomach growled angrily because it still hadn't received anything to eat. He ran over the basic sketched outline of things in his head. Find out what D and Q Chan really were, ravish D, find the assailant, kill the assailant or at least maim depending on the circumstances (time, opportunity, place, other cops, that sort of thing), ravish D again, but first and foremost breakfast.
