Flowing Through

Eros's fingers curled into the sheets beneath him, his body tensed against the next thrust into him. He was on his hands and knees, white hair spilling across his back and hanging in sweaty tendrils around his face, swallowing the breathless forced moans caught in his throat. His master's nails broke his skin gouging into soft flesh at his hips, his blood welling around there tips and dripping down his thighs. The bitter liquid swam in his mouth as well, his teeth rending through the thin layers of his lips as he bit down, stifling himself. Webber made it painful...he always made sure it hurt, never once gentling his assault. Eros knew only too well how his master became drunk on the sensations rolling from his bruised body, absorbing the misery. He knew exactly when the doctor lost contact with reality and was far gone in his own lust, to far gone to pay attention to the encroaching scent of strangers on the wind.

In the mix of the many strange signatures on the air Eros was able to single out two of great importance. The first was the slight man that often broke through security and wreaked havoc. His alone would be enough to warrant his master's attention. Webber had dark desires for that one, Eros able to taste the bloodlust in his scent whenever the man's presence was known. The other was a scent so similar to the one now emanating from Daniel that Eros was sure this was the donor Webber had spoke of. The other three puzzled him, two he was sure must be blood relatives of the donor. The third smelled very faintly of the little man, a more distant relative and something Eros couldn't identify. Irregardless their approach had spurred him to action and he had deliberately placed himself in his master's way provoking him to anger and then arousal keeping him from awareness of the intruders. Deep inside Eros offered a little prayer to whoever might listen that they find there way to Daniel and save him, take him away from this hellish existence. He bowed his head and forced himself to offer resistance, to struggle, even though his consciousness wavered under the pain, hissing when his master's sharp talons razored down his back. It kept Webber focused on him though, a rebellious victim more enticing then a submissive one, cat to his mouse. The muscles in Eros's arms trembled ripe with exhaustion and he knew he was dancing perilously close to collapsing. The tremors moved up his arms and fanned out through his body, miniature quakes spilling into larger ones he couldn't control. His elbows unlocked and he sank into the bed linens, bloody smears staining the sheets from his wounds. Webber kept his back half up forcing him to stay on his knees, face buried in the cool silk Eros pulled hot short gasps of air into his lungs desperately trying to hold on to himself. His master withdrew to the tip and paused, a silent moment of anticipation before yanking him back by his hips and up the engorged erection. Eros choked on a sharp inhalation of oxygen that tangled with an outgoing scream of shock and went limp, his mind pushed beyond its endurance.

Nestled between rock and the dragon Daniel laid quietly his eyes staring intently up into the darkness. There was a low thrum of energy in the recesses of his mind and if he lay still enough he could feel it. It seemed to be growing to him, gaining power and mass and he wondered what it meant. It was hard to identify but the closer it came the more he felt an answering thrum in himself. His mind wandered over the strange dream he had had of beings of light reaching out to him and he being able to touch them. One of them he remembered had been like him...he stumbled over the word even in his own thoughts but finally forced it out ...had been like him...had been pregnant. It didn't seem like a dream now though; now it seemed more like maybe it had happened, maybe he had been there, because the energy he had felt then was the same as the energy he felt now.

He wanted to get up but he was too afraid to rise from his place. He knew it would wake Wu Long if he so much as raised his head and he didn't want to chance it, didn't want to see the pale yellow eyes glowing at him in the gloom. It would do him no good anyways, he was locked into the den and even if he could get past that the outer doors to his apartments were locked and guarded. His stomach muscles and internal organs twisted violent and unexpected. Daniel involuntarily arched his back as the spasm hit, a surprised oh escaping from his lips and then what he wanted didn't matter as the dragon stirred to abrupt wakefulness. Wu Long's heavy scaled arm came around him pulling him close, his eyes boring into his. Daniel shrank back against the fur the minute his body released him from the seizure. Eyes wide he watched Wu Long unsure of what to expect, Wu Long had promised he would no longer hit him but here in his primal cave the words seemed far away and empty. Wu Long brought a gentle hand to his cheek and lightly stroked it. His words soft and low came to Daniel, a shivering caress against his skin.

"Shh, now, I'm not going to hurt you. Are you all right, Daniel?" Daniel closed his eyes and turned into the cool palm. His heart lurched in his chest at the touch, the traces of empathy in him picking up the affection and concern in his master's touch. A slow building sob broke through him and brimmed out his mouth and eyes, tears catching on his lashes turning to prismatic fire as the tiny globules reflected the intense light of the heat lamps. Wu Long bent and kissed him soaking up the wet slick of his lips before moving to his eyelashes to drink the molten drops from them. Daniel moaned beneath him unable to cease the sobbing, everything racing through him, his own helpless rage battering against the wall of his soul. He prayed to a God he was no longer sure existed to make it stop his own words tumbling and crashing in his mind.

'Please don't let him care...oh please, please don't let him care. I can't bear it if he cares...I'll go mad...Oh please.' But at least in that moment the pleas fell to deaf ears as Daniel was washed in the waves of Wu Long's concern strengthened by his touch. Stretched out pale and smooth beneath the dragon Daniel's fingers slid through the thick fur he laid on in agitation. His throat convulsed as he cried, bared to his core and unable to shield himself.

Wu Long propped himself up on one arm and waited, his free hand drifting down from Daniel's face to his stomach. He drew lazy wide circles on the creamy flesh there waiting for the fit to pass. Empathically he knew the confused emotions coming from his concubine and to a degree that made him uncomfortable he understood them. He finally splayed his palm across Daniel's lower belly and let the heat there melt in. His child lay under his hand buried deep inside the boy's body. He had lived to many centuries to think Daniel would be able to accept kindness from him. He knew himself better then to believe that the cruel streak running through him wouldn't in time come to the foreground again. But for now...in this moment...in this time he meant the concubine no harm and so remained silent letting Daniel have his collapse and despair. It was in this quiet contemplative state that Wu Long first knew of the danger within his complex, his senses open and stilled he heard the faint sounds of a scuffle several floors below. He turned his head tilting to gather more of the sounds. His tongue flickered out to taste the air, catching the barest hint of herbal cigarettes he had come to know all to well. Wu Long bent his head to the juncture of Daniel's throat and bit down sending his venom through the still sobbing concubine. Once Daniel subsided back into sleep Wu Long folded the furs around him and tucked him back against the wall where to the eye all you could see was a misshapen pile of furs not unlike all the other piles lying about. Satisfied he existed the chambers sending the door back down behind him instantly locking as it sealed.

Wu Long quickly slipped into fresh clothing and slipped out the apartments startling his own guards as he came through. He glared at them and hissed his displeasure at their inattention.

"If either of you imbeciles lets anyone or anything get past you into my chambers you had better pray that it kills you in passing because rest assured if it doesn't I will. Am I understood?" He informed them, his voice hard and demanding. The men nodded and stuttered in answer, cowering under his gaze. Wu Long moved off down the hallway following the noises and smells towards the intruders. He turned down one of side hallways and ducked into a room that only a few could access, a weapons room where he kept his favorite knives and whips. He chose one whip and two fighting blades before preceding with his hunt. Four of the scents had dispersed in other directions traveling away from him, all of them familiar to him, all but the one coming towards him, that one he had never smelled before. He turned down another corridor and grinned broadly when the scent turned as well and Leon Orcot came into sight. The human saw him the same moment and narrowed blue eyes to slits. Wu Long had a flash pan moment of lust at the definitely masculine beauty before him and his smile widened. Swiveling his blades in his hands he kept his approach calm and measured calling out to the detective.

"Detective Orcot, a pleasure to finally meet you in the flesh and blood as it were. Care to dance?" Leon responded by stretching his arms over his head tilting backwards pulling his muscles taut. Straightening he pulled his own blade and settled into his favorite fighting stance.

"I've been dieing for you to ask." Leon's voice solid and his manner unruffled more then ready for the first blow.
