Flowing Through

Ning carried the boy quietly behind his grandmother. He was unraveling inside, tightly wound threads snapping apart against the tension. His fault…all of this was his fault. No excuse or self sympathy he gave himself would ease the bursting of his soul or slow the rendering of the seals holding back the crushing madness of his full powers. Nana walked carefully in front of him keeping her own silence and trying to mask the fear in her own mind. Her youngest grandchild squirmed in her thoughts, his worry and apprehension over his human mate blended with his concern over his father. She had nothing to offer him for consolation and her growing unease only built his higher. She could see his shadow in her mind kneeling on the floor his long fine hands twisting in frustration and sent her own thoughts out to him.

[Help me open a portal little one. Time is of essence. Hurry.] Nana opened herself and directed her considerable will and talent towards the harmonizing energy of her great grandchild. It was considerably more difficult to transport physical beings then it was to propel ones astral self through time and space. A knot of searing heat built in her neck and spread through her shoulders, twisting down her back as she concentrated on bringing the reality of one location in alignment with another. The atmosphere tangled around her compressing her chest as she tore and punched through to the other side. Hazily the dim outline of Jiaoshu could be seen hands outstretched pulling them forward as she pushed from behind nodding for Ning to carry Eros through while she held the dislocation open. She reeled a bit in pain as his physical form and the boy's passed through her own and then snapped back into place as she followed them.

Nana opened blurred eyes as she sank to the apartment floor. Jiaoshu sprawled before her exhausted as she was and weak from the expenditure of essence to bring them home. Ning remained standing between them his arms still weighted with Eros. Immense waves of raw power rolled around him displacing the air. Tet-chan approached cautiously and bowed low to the ground before offering his arms to take Eros from him. Ning gazed at him widely before slowly giving him the unconscious form, Ning's long fingers gently caressing the soft white hair as he let him go. Tet-chan backed away in small even steps keeping eye contact as he did so. Nana and Jiaoshu both held still eyes locked on the kami's form as the last of the seals let go. Ning's long hair thickened and grew dark coils stretching towards his feet erupting from within with his essence.

The tiniest gasp came from the direction of Leon's bedroom. The soft sound drawing all eyes to Jill as she stood framed in the door. Her eyes wide, her lips slightly parted in shock she met Ning's heavy lidded stare and saw the unspoken desperation in his eyes. Something wild and pulsing swam through her breaking the confines of thousands of years of human conditioned civilization, a low inarticulate cry reverberating her throat. She raised her arms to her mate in invitation, in acceptance, in want, her fingers slightly curled waiting to grasp him in her embrace.

Ning swept into her, his long arms wrapping her close and lifting her from the floor, carrying her into the room. The door slamming shut behind them as they become a knot of limbs and hair spilling across Leon's floor. Ning sobbed hard against her neck as the torrent of his full power erupted from him drawing his body into a tight spasm and rocking him against her as he let go. Fangs sank deep into the cords of her throat, her blood running liquid heat from her body and into his satisfying one primal desire and setting another aflame in both of them. Jill's hips arched against him adding sweet pressure to the swarm of emotions and sensations he was already drowning in. Warm and female, her soft body offering peace and a haven….offering solace to his storm he moaned against her solidity.

The voices of hundreds of living creatures fought to be heard inside his head. Ning writhed against the onslaught of empathic information, against the hatred, rage, chaos, distrust and dispassion creeping into him from the apartments around him and the street below. His hands clenching and bruising Jill to him in blind need to shut out the coarse litany of others and immerse himself in only her. He searched for her mouth licking into her taking the salt of tears with him.

Jill let her arms encircle him and rubbed his back, under his hair in slow circles, her ardor deepening with her natural compassion and care. She wanted to ease his hurt, instinctively, without formulated thought or motive and it breathed through him. Jill pushed into his body, into his hands, letting the bizarre live whips of his hair slide under her and around her. Ning roamed her body randomly his mouth sliding from hers to her cheeks and neck, tasting and worrying as he went. His canines pricked her skin, razing the sensitive flesh and electrifying her with spidery pain. Her heart contracted hard in her chest and then just held between beats. The air in her chest froze and she locked rigid in his embrace. Her eyes opened and dilated until only the pupil remained, glassy, dark and unseeing. Ning purred against her blind in his need, nudging her with his forehead. Driven by the creature in her arms Jill stiffened against the opening of dormant, buried abilities. Memories skittered through of answering the phone before it rang, opening doors before knuckle had touched wood, of a million little instances of knowing what the person next to her needed before they could voice it and of reaching out to Leon breaking through his exterior where others failed.

Jill felt the slice through the membranes of her mind as she came fully alive in his arms. Ning shivered feeling the great well open in her, open to him, drawing him to its safety. He tore impatiently at the clothes baring his way, his hair weaving through and ripping what his hands couldn't remove quickly enough. Jill's heart began to beat slow and steady, it could be heard clearly in the room, drowning out the noise fluttering in his head. Ning purred and growled against her when his skin burned against her own, nothing but a frail divinity dividing them. He was not mortal and had foolishly believed that nothing as fleeting as a human could contain the great swelling of his own terrible gifts. Now he found the delicate warm body beneath him contained so much more then her outward appearance could ever reflect and he buried himself both body and soul into her letting her take him in. She sang one pure note of bliss and completeness as they broke through there own physical beings, the erection inside her nothing compared to the outpouring of all Ning was flowing into her. She drank him whole, legs around his waist, hands clenching into his back as she arched upwards taking him deeper even as her soul wrapped around his encapsulating him, blocking out the incessant cries that had driven him mad. Power for power they joined reinforced by touch of moist human skin to cool kami skin and both totally lost in the other as he gave himself to her trusting her with the gift of his life and sanity and she accepted shielding him with a strange unknown gift of her own claiming him in the embrace of her mind and letting herself be claimed in turn.

The concussion of the union erupted from them in a shockwave of energy decimating Leon's bedroom door and most of the surrounding wall and blowing the glass of his windows out into the wind in a million glittering fragments. Nana and Jiaoshu shielded their eyes against the force, both staring amazed and disbelieving into the room. Leon's apartment door swung open on its hinges as the aftershocks carried through the building. A woman stood there arms crossed over her ample chest and a wry smile on her lips, had Leon been there he would have recognized her from Ning's mind as one of the ones who had sealed away his power. The woman cocked her eyebrow tilting her head as she addressed Nana.

"Now that my pet is a real bonding and a most excellent one at that….come now don't you think it's time you invited me in?" She asked her in a warm voice her blue grey eyes matching Nana's in their agelessness. Nana eyes closed as her name fell from her lips….

"Ellandhra."
